George HW Bush discharged from hospital

The former U.S. President George H. W. Bush was released from the hospital after undergoing treatment for the infection.

This was reported by the official representative of the Bush family Jim McGrath in his Twitter account.

“President George Bush was discharged from Methodist hospital after undergoing treatment for the infection. His doctors report that he is feeling well and happy to be back home,” he wrote.

24 APR George Bush senior was in intensive care. The reason for admission was sepsis (infection of the organism as a result of contact with blood infection).

Health of George H. W. Bush deteriorated after the death of his wife Barbara Bush. She died on 18 April aged 92 years. For many years Barbara Bush suffered from graves disease — autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid and leads to poisoning thyroid hormones.
