The court has released on PAROLE a former Deputy head of the Federal penitentiary service Krivolapova

MOSCOW, may 3 — RIA Novosti. The Central court of Kaliningrad granted the request for parole, former Deputy Director of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia Nikolay Krivolapov, who was sentenced to 5 years and 8 months in prison on charges of embezzlement in the procurement of electronic bracelets, told RIA Novosti in court.

“The petition about conditional-early release from punishment granted,” reads the business card.

It is noted that the decision was appealed by both the public Prosecutor and the representative of the prison administration.

According to the prosecution, the former head of the Federal penitentiary service Alexander Reimer and the other defendants created in the system office, an enterprise for the production of electronic bracelets, placing the state order without competition.

In fact, as the investigation revealed, the bracelets were made by another company and then shipped to the office, for which the defendants received kickbacks of 10%. Stolen was 1.23 billion rubles.

The court sentenced Reimer to 8 years of colony, his former Deputy Krivolapova the court appointed 5 years and 8 months in prison, and ex-Director of the FSUE departmental Victor Opredelennomu — 6 years in prison.
