MOSCOW, April 28. /TASS/. The Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova urged not to include in the sanctions lists of goods and services medicines and medical technology.
“I urge everyone to in the current confrontation between States to include medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, technologies in the field of health,” she said during a press conference in TASS on Saturday.
The Ombudsman stressed that the political confrontation of the “human health cannot be under attack”.

The draft law “On measures of exposure to (counter) the unfriendly actions of the US and (or) other foreign countries” was submitted April 13, leaders of all parliamentary factions and speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. It is designed as a response to manifested by “the US and its officials calls expressed in a hostile and unconstructive action for the imposition of sanctions against both Russia in General and its citizens and legal entities”, stated in the explanatory Memorandum.
In accordance with the draft law to the government “granted authority for the introduction of a number of measures that have both economic and political in nature, aimed primarily at the elimination of so-called acts of a hostile character.” Among them — a ban on the supply of drugs, alcohol and tobacco, agricultural products and manufactured goods, technological equipment and software. The only exception will be their import to Russia from the US and countries supporting the policy of Washington, for “personal use”.
