German student found millennial treasure of the Danish king

Among the found treasures were silver coins, pearls and jewelry.

Treasure found 13-year-old schoolboy Luke, Malashenko and his teacher, Rene Sean during the study of the German island of rügen in the Baltic sea. Using metal detectors they found the shiny object, but on closer examination it turned out that this ancient silver coin.

Later professional researchers organized an archaeological expedition to the island in the course of excavations discovered a real treasure: silver coins, pearls, rings and bracelets. In total we found 600 items.

Historians suggest that the found treasure belonged to the legendary king of Denmark and Harald to Germano, better known as Harald I Bluetooth. By the way, Harald is considered one of the Catholic saints — in 965, it was he who baptized Denmark.
