In the name of Putin had prepared a petition in defense Magomedov
Lawyer Maria Belyavskaya said that has prepared a petition to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in defense of the co-owner of Summa group Ziyavudin Magomedov. The document, according to the lawyer, signed by 15 thousand people. It is reported by the correspondent of “Kommersant” from a court hall.
According to Mrs. Belyavskaya, petition contains a request for “an open and impartial investigation.” The document also says Ziyavudin Magomedov is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a philanthropist.
Meanwhile, the court refused to attach to the material it reviewed the petition, as “deprived of the opportunity to verify the authenticity of the signatures.” Today in Moscow city court considered an appeal from the decision of the Tver court of 31 March about the arrest of Mr. Magomedov.
Co-owner of Summa group Ziyavudin Magomedov, his brother Magomed, and Arthur Maximova detained March 30. They are suspected of fraud by 2.5 billion rubles and the creation of an organized criminal community.
