Contemporary art. Cleaners messed up the installation with garbage and threw it away

And this is not the first such case.

Curiosity ended art fair Art Fair Harbour in Hong Kong. An exhibit of the Swiss artist Carol Mei Unhappy Meal (simulating a cardboard box of food from McDonalds) cleaners took over the garbage and just threw it away. Later the project management and explained to them that they made a mistake and they returned the exhibit back, though in a rather unfavorable light.

Actually, it’s a simple mistake. “Creation” may sound exactly like the packaging of a fast food restaurant; the difference is the painted smile on the box is inverted (hence the name of the Unhappy Meal, i.e. “Unhappy meal”).

Art imitates life, but maybe too much in the case of Swiss artist Carol May’s ‘Unhappy Meal’ given that it got binned by cleaners following an art fair:https://t.co/08G6g82hFR pic.twitter.com/XEJv6Dd2yE

Social media users were very happy with what happened and sneer at modern art. However one person was not amused — the artist, Carol may.

First, she wrote that “it is not funny,” but then added that her goal was to portray the most resemblance to reality.

But because this incident only confirms that with her job she did.
