Moscow. 3 Mar. INTERFAX.RU — IN the Fes reminded that the next working week in Russia will last only three days, Monday through Wednesday, and then, in connection with International women’s day there will be four days off in a row, from Thursday, March 8 to Sunday, March 11, inclusive.

Such a short working week obtained in connection with the celebration of International women’s day, which this year falls on Thursday, said the Deputy Minister.

“On March 8 this year falls on a Thursday, and the gap between this day and the weekend will be closed by moving the non-working day January 6 this year, which fell on Saturday, on Friday, March 9. This will allow the Russians to rest for four consecutive days since March 8 and 9 are added to the usual weekend — Saturday, March 10 and Sunday March 11,” — said the Agency interlocutor.

As for the may holidays, in connection with the celebration of may day (the official name of the holiday — the Day of Spring and Labour), which this year falls on Tuesday, the Russians will not work 4 days in a row, according to the Department.
