The film by Russian Director Alexey German Jr.’s “iron curtain” was awarded by an independent jury at the 68th Berlin film festival. This decision was made by the jury of the German newspaper Berliner Morgenpost. This was reported on the website of the festival.
Another film by Russian Director Timur Bekmambetov “Profile” won the audience award of the programme “Panorama”.
