First paid fake two-thousand-dollar bill
The inhabitant of the Amur region paid at the pump fake two-thousand-dollar bill. On Monday, February 19, reported on the website of the regional Prosecutor’s office.
According to the report, the incident occurred on 8 February. The operator took the money from the client. Later, noticing that the banknote is fake, the staff filling went to the police.
“The bill was withdrawn. In the study, it was found that she made the production of FGUP “Goznak” and by inkjet printing”, — noted in a press-service of Prosecutor’s office.
A criminal case under article 186 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Manufacture, storage, transportation or sale of counterfeit money or securities”).
RIA Novosti notes that this is the first in Russia case of detection of a false two-thousand banknotes.
Resident of Khabarovsk Krai for two years, banks have brought in fake bills almost a billion rubles. In relation to men of the two criminal cases, he faces up to six years of imprisonment.
