“Statistics show that in 2017, the trend of reduction under consideration of ECHR complaints against Russia (from 7.82 million in 2016 to 7.74 million in 2017),” — said in published on the website of the Ministry of justice report on the results of last year.

“However, in 2017 marked increase in the number kommunitsirovaniya the European Court of complaints (from 1.7 thousand in 2016, to about 2 million in 2017) and adopted decisions (with 228 in 2016 to 305 in 2017)”, — the document says.
According to the Ministry, the applicants were paid compensation of the caused damage for the sum more than 900 million rubles.
