VLADIVOSTOK, 8 Feb — RIA Novosti. The steam-ship “Igor Farkhutdinov”, which runs between Sakhalin and Kuril Islands, stuck in the ice with passengers on Board, told RIA Novosti the representative of the Maritime rescue sub-centre of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
“The ship is positioned closer to the shores of Japan, stuck in the ice. The boat is with passengers in Korsakov, in the area of heavy ice conditions, he fights on the ice. While to us did not, but the situation with him monitored”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
According to him, the vessel is intended to pass through the ice.
