Stephen king apologized for a joke about the train accident with the Republicans

MOSCOW, Feb 2 — RIA Novosti. American writer Stephen king has apologized for his joke about the train accident with congressional Republicans, which killed one person.

Wednesday afternoon the train on which group of congressional Republicans, including speaker of the house of representatives Paul Ryan, went to the country side, collided with a garbage truck, whose driver died.

“A train full of Republicans… crashed into a garbage truck. My friend Russ calls it karma,” wrote soon after the accident, king wrote in his Twitter.

“Of course, sorry, killed the driver of the truck. On my part it was a pretty ill-considered tweet about the collision of train and truck, for which I apologize,” said the king.

In 1999, the writer himself was involved in a serious car accident after which he underwent several operations.
