The Deputy of the state Duma: the partners of the defence industry will be difficult to return to the arms market of the Russian Federation in case of withdrawal

MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS./ Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on defence Yury Shvydkin believes that foreign partners of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation will be difficult to return to the market of the Russian weapon in case of withdrawal from it under pressure of us sanctions, because the products of the Russian defense industry is in demand and proved its effectiveness.

As reported earlier, the correspondent of TASS, state Department spokesman, “the state Department may proceed with the imposition of sanctions under section 231 of the law “On combating the enemies of America by sanctions” (CAATSA) for significant transactions with the Russian enterprises of the military-industrial complex and intelligence agencies”. He said that “if they are introduced, they will primarily relate to non-Russian organizations involved in significant transactions with Russian enterprises of the military-industrial complex and intelligence agencies”.
