Journalist and Secretary of the cjr Boris Reznik has died on 78-m to year of life
MOSCOW, 27 Jan — RIA Novosti. Well-known journalist, social activist, Secretary of the Union of journalists of Russia (szhr) Boris Reznik died at the age of 77 years, reported the press service of the Russian Union of journalists on Saturday.
“We lost our friend, a well-known journalist, social activist, Secretary of the Union of journalists of Russia Boris L. Reznik. Died a true professional, a sincere and thoroughly decent man, his entire adult life dedicated to the development of Russian journalism… we Express our sincere and deep sympathy to the families and friends of the deceased. The bright memory of Boris Lvovich will long remain in our hearts”, — stated in the message.
As noted in cjr, for great achievements in journalism Resnick has been repeatedly awarded awards of the USSR Union of journalists and Union of journalists of Russia. Worked in Newspapers “Evening Moscow”, “Moskovsky Komsomolets”, “news” and other publications. He was elected Deputy of the state Duma of several convocations, as well as many years headed the charity Foundation for seriously ill children “Hope”, working on a voluntary basis.
The “Foundation “Hope” were collected and focused on the development of children’s healthcare of Khabarovsk Krai more than 100 million rubles. For special merits in the protection of children’s health Boris Lvovich Reznik was elected an honorary Professor of the Institute of protection of motherhood and childhood of the Siberian branch of the Academy of medical Sciences”, — noted in the organization.
