Ministry of culture: showed “Death of Stalin” cinema waiting for the investigation
In a press-service of the Ministry said that in respect of the cinema “pioneer” will be prosecuted on administrative violation.
MOSCOW, January 25. /TASS/. The Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation will check the facts shown in cinemas of the film “Death of Stalin”, the rental license which was revoked. This was announced Thursday in a press-Department service.
Previously, “Vedomosti” reported that the Moscow cinema “pioneer” on Thursday held a presentation of the British film “Death of Stalin” Armando’s Annucci distribution certificate which was revoked by the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation on January 23.
After checking media reports and confirm the screening of the film without a distribution certificate in respect of cinema will be prosecuted on administrative violation.The press service of the Ministry of culture
The Department also reminded of the responsibility of cinemas for showing films without a distribution certificate.
“The Ministry of culture recalls that in accordance with article 5.1 of the Federal law from 22.08.1996 N 126-FZ (ed. from 29.07.2017) “On state support of cinematography of the Russian Federation”, the implementation on the territory of the Russian Federation of movie rental and (or) his show without a distribution certificate or a violation in a rolling identity of the method of use of the film entails liability in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation”, — said the press service.
