MOSCOW, January 15 — RIA Novosti. The soloist of the Irish rock band The Cranberries Dolores O’riordan died in London at the age of 46, according to TV channel RTE.

O’riordan joined the Cranberries in 1990 at the age of 18 years, becoming a vocalist and face of the group. In 2003 she began her solo career, recorded two albums. O’riordan also played a cameo role in the film “Click: with remote control for life” recorded the song “Ave Maria” for the soundtrack of the movie “the passion of the Christ”. The singer was married to former Manager of Duran Duran, they had five children.
