The candidate for presidents of Russia, businessman Pavel Grudinina had accounts in foreign banks. This was at a meeting of the Central election Commission said Commission member Boris Ebzeev.

Previously, two independent candidates — Vladimir Putin and the Deputy of the Kostroma regional Duma Vladimir Mikhailov — was allowed to open an electoral account and begin collecting signatures.
