Ukraine demanded to recognize the years of Soviet “occupation”
MOSCOW, 6 Jan — RIA Novosti. Ukraine needs a large-scale information work for the recognition of the “occupation” of the Soviet regime, said the Director of the Ukrainian Institute of national memory Vladimir vyatrovich in the air “5 channel”.

As noted viatrovych, information needs to “shape the continuity of present-day Ukraine to the UPR” and define the essence of the Soviet period in Ukraine’s history.
“We are talking about the Soviet occupation, the establishment of the first Bolshevik, then Communist occupation regime”, — said the historian. In his view, 2017 is the year “of the century, the Bolshevik aggression.”
UNR was founded during the revolution in 1917. At that time, she actually did not include the territory of Western Ukraine, Crimea, Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic, Northern Bukovina, Chernivtsi, Transcarpathia, part of Bessarabia and Odessa. All these lands became part of the Ukraine from 1919 to 1954.
