In Belgium a Russian woman died after falling on the rink
MOSCOW, January 3 — RIA Novosti. Russian tourist was killed in the Belgian city of Bruges after a fall at the rink new year’s eve, according to the publication Nieuwsblad.
According to the publication, the incident occurred at about 01.00 on the rink at the Christmas market, with ice skating rink, the night was closed. While skating on the ice, the woman fell, hit her head hard and lost consciousness, but later, after examination, the doctors refused hospitalization.
The next morning the woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition, after she died, the newspaper reports.
City police said it opened an investigation in connection with the incident.
As specified, the Russian arrived in the city with friends to celebrate new year’s eve.
