Criminal case initiated after the death of seven people in the Orenburg village

INTERFAX.RU — the Investigating authorities opened a criminal case into the death of seven people, including three children, whose bodies were discovered in a house in Kurmanaevskogo district of Orenburg region, is spoken in the message of the Investigative Department of the TFR in the region reported on Tuesday.

A criminal case was opened under part 3 of article 109 of the criminal code (causing death by negligence to two or more persons).

According to the investigation, on the eve of a residential building in the village of Skvortsivka for the holiday table were three men, a 42-year-old woman with three children aged five, six and 16 years. “Inspection of the scene showed that the house was heated by natural gas burners in the furnace. Damper furnace flue was open not fully, in connection with which carbon monoxide filled the room. Perhaps also the problem of heating furnace led to the tragedy”, — is spoken in the message.

Currently, investigators establish and interrogate the witnesses, find out the causes of the incident, a forensic medical examination.

Earlier it was reported that the bodies of seven people were discovered on Monday evening in a residential building in Kurmanaevskogo district of Orenburg region, where he lived retired with his 25-year-old unemployed son. The hostess at the time of the accident was absent.
