Poroshenko called the main resource of Ukrainians optimism
In his new year address to the Ukrainian people, President Petro Poroshenko named the main resource of the country optimism. He called as preserve the unity of the country and separately appealed to residents of Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk and Lugansk.
The main resource of Ukraine, according to President Petro Poroshenko, is the optimism and faith in their country. He stated this in his new year address to the nation, the text of which is published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
“Optimism, faith in their country, in their own strength — our main resource. And all will be well. To do this, as taught by his Beatitude Lubomyr Husar, we should pray as if everything depends on God but work as if everything depends on us” — said Poroshenko.
The President promised to provide the political conditions for economic growth. “Those who want to burn the house from the inside — you should get a match. And for those who will attack us from the outside, — on the contrary, to open fire. And how to preserve our unity,” he added.
In addition, Poroshenko appealed to residents of Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk and Lugansk.
“Across the artificial line of demarcation my sincere wishes to even hear the Crimea and Sevastopol, Donetsk and Lugansk. Brothers and sisters, your house — Ukraine… And the robber who destroyed our house — the time will come — and we will punish”, — assured the head of the Ukrainian state.
Opened his speech Poroshenko wishes to be happy for the Ukrainians who returned from captivity to his family and friends.
“Though not without mistakes, but move forward. After several years of crisis that caused the war, go to recovery and development. In the new year, the government should accelerate the pace of growth. Should the level rise, palpable to the majority of Ukrainians. And it us”, — the statement says Poroshenko.
