The details of the contract for the supply of Russian C-400 to Turkey
Signed the Russian-Turkish agreement to supply anti-aircraft missile systems s-400 provides for technological cooperation. This is stated in the statement of the Secretariat of the defense industry of Turkey, reports RIA Novosti.
Earlier on December 29 Moscow and Ankara signed in the Turkish capital credit agreement for the supply of s-400. According to him, the Turkish Republic buying two batteries of s-400, the service will conduct local staff. Also referred to Turkey’s desire to SAM’s own production.
The technical side and payment details are not disclosed. On 27 December the head of the Corporation “rostec” Sergey Chemezov said that 55 percent of the transaction for the supply of s-400 will cover the Russian loan. According to him, the contract to supply four battalions of s-400 is $ 2.5 billion.
After Ankara announced the purchase of the Moscow s-400, has complicated Turkey’s relations with the countries — members of NATO. So, the U.S. permanent representative to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison said that “s-400 is incompatible with NATO systems, and this is a problem”.
