Poroshenko named the main achievement of Ukraine in 2017
MOSCOW, 29 Dec — RIA Novosti. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the main national achievements in the past year were the introduction of a visa-free regime with EU countries and support from the West in the struggle for independence. This is stated in the message on the website of the Ukrainian leader.
The Ukrainian leader stressed the importance of continuing support from Western countries.
“The European Union has shown unity with us and extended sanctions against the Russian Federation, despite the fact that for them it is a tough decision. A manifestation of solidarity with Ukraine… for them is a priority because justice and truth with us,” said the Ukrainian leader.
In addition, the President attributed the achievements of the country continuation of the program of decentralization, judicial reform, and the construction or repair of 300 kilometers of roads.
