MOSCOW, 29 Dec — RIA Novosti. Victims of a fire in a residential building in new York began at least 12 people, including a child, reports the New York Post, citing city officials.
Earlier it was reported about nine killed and 15 seriously wounded. According to the mayor of new York bill De Blasio, 12 people were rescued. The search for victims and survivors in a burning building continues.
The five-storey house caught fire in the Bronx. In extinguishing the fire involved more than 160 firefighters. Fire rated fourth category of complexity.
The burning house is located near Bronx zoo is the largest urban zoo in the United States, covering an area of over 100 hectares.
