The share of modern equipment in the Armed forces has quadrupled in five years, the pace of military construction — 15 times. On 22 December the Minister of defence of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu reported to the Supreme Commander of the armed forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the outcome of the expanded Board of the military Department at the Academy of the strategic missile forces.
