They touched me deeply with his music, and the feeling I carried through my whole life… Who was inspired by Prokofiev? He listened to the Chicago school of jazz. In the music of Prokofiev is simply impossible not to hear the influence of early American school of jazz in Chicago, which he learned during his travels in America,” said the huntsman.
“I listened to a little music, and it’s pretty good,” added the U.S. Ambassador.
According to Huntsman, in his youth he wanted to become a musician, played the piano, and when he discovered American jazz and the art of improvisation, his life “changed completely”.
“It was my dream… I was terribly fond of music on weekends playing in bands and earned. When I changed my third or fourth group, we began to write our own music. We even recorded an almost complete album, and then fled. But the clubs played to a very serious level,” — said the diplomat.
