The state Duma adopted a law on tax Amnesty and the exemption of pensioners from land tax

MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. The state Duma adopted in the third reading the law about debt relief to individuals and individual entrepreneurs (IE) in taxes and contributions as well as exemption of pensioners from land tax for plots with an area of not more than six acres.
Norms laws have been framed as amendments to the second reading of the bill on taxation of controlled foreign organizations. The authors of the document became a group of deputies from “United Russia” headed by Chairman of the Duma Committee on budget and taxes Andrei Makarov.
That provides for a “tax Amnesty”
“Tax Amnesty” is declared in respect of income received by taxpayers from 1 January 2015 to 1 January 2017, upon receipt of which was personal income tax withheld by a tax agent and details of which are presented by the tax agent established by the Tax code.

“The fact is that under current tax laws, all of these funds after their cancellation become income earners and, therefore, by such a forgiveness of debt, the Bank or the company shall immediately inform the IRS that this income persons should pay income tax”, — said the Deputy.
According to the law, is recognized uncollectible and be written off arrears on property taxes (i.e., taxes on land, property and transport), formed on January 1, 2015, and the debt on interest charged on the arrears at the same date.
