An unknown object exploded in apartment buildings in Stavropol

Moscow. 20 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — Residents of a multistory building in the South-Western area of Stavropol was evacuated in the night of Wednesday because of the explosion that occurred in one of the apartments, said the head of the city administration Andrei Dzhatdoev reporters.
“In the EDDS received a signal that an explosion occurred in one of the houses in the southwestern district of the city (…) Moved to the scene, along with colleagues, it became clear that it was not an explosion of gas, as qualified, and illegal actions”, — said Catcodes, without specifying what exactly exploded is unknown.
The residents of the house explained to “Interfax” that one of the occupants of the house detonated a grenade, after which the police began a mass evacuation.
“The house tenants we have brought, conducted in 35 Lyceum (…) the school has Junior sleeping children were placed. People can stay here for as long as necessary, this is an emergency situation”, — said the head of the administration, adding that “evacuated 50 adults and 15 children.”
