The Frenchman has travelled around the world on a yacht and has set a new record

The Frenchman françois Gabaret (François Gabart) set a new record, having made a solo yacht voyage around the world in 42 days 16 hours 40 minutes and 35 seconds. It is reported by RTL.

The record was set at 02:45 on Sunday French time (04:45 GMT), when the sailor has crossed the virtual finish line between the French island of wassan and the southernmost point of great Britain is the lizard point.
