On the form of the Olympic team of Russia on hockey emblem will be replaced by the silhouette of the player. About it reports “R-Sport”, citing a source close to the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
According to the Agency, the Federation of hockey of Russia sent an updated version of equipment. At the request of the IOC, the forms were removed the national emblem and the emblem of the FHR. Game jerseys are made in red and white. Also on the form there is an inscription Olympic athlete from Russia (“Sport-Olympian from Russia”).

Previously on December 17, the IOC has banned athletes from Russia to use national symbols on the form during the Olympic games in 2018 in Pyeongchang. Instead, the equipment must be of the Olympic rings.
On December 5, the IOC Executive Board suspended the national team of Russia from participation in the Olympics. To participate in the Games, only athletes who have proven their innocence to the state system of concealment of positive doping tests. They will be able to speak in a neutral status.
Olympic winter games in Pyeongchang will be held from 9 to 25 February 2018.
