MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Strategic rocket forces (RVSN) will get into service in 2018 20 launchers of Intercontinental ballistic missile complex “YARS”. This was reported by the commander of the strategic missile forces Sergei Karakayev.
“More than 20 launchers missile system “YARS” in the mobile and stationary options-based”, he said in a Friday interview to the newspaper “Red star”, responding to a question.
The commander noted that today, the troops on duty there are about 200 launchers mobile ground missile systems (pgrk). “Their number in recent years has not changed significantly. Instead of producing guarantee resource pgrk “Topol”, we introduce in the military and put on combat duty on pgrk “YARS”, – he said.
