The international football Federation (FIFA) has commented on possible problems with the purchase of tickets for the 2018 world Cup to residents of the Crimea. About it reports “Interfax”.
According to the press service of the FIFA, anyone who submits an application and pointed to the place of residence will be able to buy a ticket. “FIFA does not impose any technical limitations that would prevent anyone, regardless of place of residence, apply for the tickets or complete the application process on the website,” — said representatives of the organization.
FIFA also said they were satisfied with the progress of sales and interest in the tournament shown by fans from Russia and abroad.
Early on 13 December the Deputy Minister of sports of Russia Natalia Parshikova said that the inhabitants of the Crimea will not be able to buy tickets for the 2018 world Cup on the FIFA website. Therefore, for the Crimeans were ticketing through the website of the Russian football Union.
The FIFA world Cup 2018 will be held in 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15 at 12 stadiums.
