“I want to go and become mayor of Odessa. I’m not kidding, really. I really want to raise Odessa. But Odessa can be lifted only by changing all the rules of the game,” he said. The politician said about his team’s plan, according to which Ukraine can be reformed for 70 days and the state apparatus to reduce by two-thirds.
However, he reiterated about the lack of presidential ambitions. “I cannot be President by definition. And I can’t long to be in Ukrainian politics, by definition, because I don’t want to get involved in this routine. I need the big breakthroughs for the better. Then I would have stayed in Ukraine as an ordinary citizen”, — told Saakashvili.
12 December, Saakashvili spoke about the desire to head the government of Ukraine. “I am ready to take responsibility for the normal government of Ukraine”, — said the politician. However, he noted that “under any sauce” will not run for the presidency of the country.
