The state Duma adopted the law on the informal use of the coat of arms of Russia
MOSCOW, 13 Dec — RIA Novosti. The state Duma adopted in the third and final reading a bill that provides people and organizations a respectful use of the state emblem of the Russian Federation in the informal purposes.
The authors of the initiative by the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and the head of the Committee on legislation Pavel Krasheninnikov.
At present, the use of the state emblem of the Russian Federation is possible only in cases specified by law. If the state emblem is used in other cases and in ways not relevant to the rules of its official use, it may pursue administrative and criminal liability. In fact, citizens and organizations do not have a legal possibility of informal use of the state emblem, said earlier the Deputy.
According to Krasheninnikov, the legislation expands the possibility of using the state emblem of the Russian Federation, providing citizens and organizations the right informal use.
The Deputy said that the amendments established the possibility of such unofficial use of the state emblem or the image of the Federal bodies of state power, other Federal state bodies, bodies of state power of subjects of the Russian Federation and other state bodies of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local self-government bodies and municipal authorities.
The adoption of the bill citizens and organizations will be able to legally depict the national emblem on souvenir and gift products, use it on mass public events, at sporting events, at conventions of public associations, in some other cases, in everyday life, in everyday life.
