In the Kemerovo region court enforcement officers have closed several classrooms at a local school due to exceeding the radioactive gases radon and thoron. This was reported on the website of the Department.
Specialists of Rospotrebnadzor during check of the school in the city of Osinniki were found to have significant levels of radioactive elements. The results of the survey were submitted to the court, which agreed with the fact of violation of sanitary-epidemiological requirements. After that, the bailiffs 90 days closed three hazardous office.
