“Dislike” Zvyagintsev nominated for “Golden globe”

WASHINGTON, 11 Dec — RIA Novosti. The film “Hate” by Russian Director Andrei Zvyagintsev nominated for “Golden globe” in 2018 in the category “Best foreign language film”, was announced on Monday by the awards organisers.

In the category also represented the Cambodian film by Director and actress angelina Jolie’s “First they killed my father” (First They Killed My Father), the Chilean film “Fantastic woman” (A Fantastic Woman), German “To the limit” (In the Fade) and “Square” (Square) joint production in Sweden, Germany and France.

The award ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on 7 January.

The award “Golden globe” awarded in 1942 for movies and television films, marked accredited foreign journalists Hollywood (HFPA).

The prize is awarded in 25 categories: 14 in film and 11 celebrate achievements on television. The winner is determined by voting members of the HFPA, the number of which in total does not exceed a hundred. It is believed that due to its limited numbers and by profession the members of the HFPA tend to vote for the most “glamorous” of the representatives of the silver screen.
