Warsaw without Kiev “will do a great job,” said the Polish foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, 10 Dec — RIA Novosti. Poland needs Ukraine and will exist regardless of what is happening there. This statement was made head of the political Cabinet of the Polish foreign Minister, Jan Parys on the meeting of the discussion club “ronin,” according to RMF24.

Thus the diplomat responded to the speech of the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, who earlier said that “there is no safe Poland, if it conflicts with Ukraine.”

According to Paris, Poland will exist “irrespective of what is happening in Ukraine, the situation is better or worse.” He stressed that relations with Ukraine are not “a necessary condition for the existence of free Poland”.

“They (the Ukrainian authorities — Approx. ed.) believe that Warsaw is weak, isolated and in need in Ukraine. Not true. Ukraine needs Poland. Poland without Ukraine will manage just fine,” said Paris.
