Team USA will leave for the Olympic games in Pyeongchang in full force. It is reported by the Twitter account of Fox News, citing the U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley.
“Yes we are going, the whole Olympic team,” replied Haley to the question whether the US is to participate in the Olympics in 2018 and to let go of the athletes of the national team in South Korea.
On 7 December reported that the issue of participation of athletes from USA in the upcoming Olympic games remains open. It was noted that the American side is concerned about the situation on the Korean Peninsula, and the national team may withdraw from the performances at the Games in full force, for security reasons.
Olympic games 2018 will be held in South Korean Pyeongchang from 9 to 25 February.
