In Sweden, unknown persons threw the synagogue with Molotov cocktails

In the Swedish city of Gothenburg a group of unknown persons threw a local synagogue with Molotov cocktails. This was announced by the representative of the international Jewish Agency’s AVI Mayer, reports RIA Novosti.

According to him, the building caught fire, the synagogue and the parked car suffered damage. As a result of incident nobody has suffered. Jewish students, gathered at that moment in the synagogue, were forced to hide from the attackers in the basement.

Mayer recalled that on Saturday, December 9, in the third largest city of Malmo, there have been protests of Muslims against the Jews. He noted that this is due to US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
