Waterfalls of paint: born as surreal paintings

Artist Thomas Blanchard mixes a colored paint with oil and other liquids in a huge VAT to create fantastic paintings.

Thomas Blanchard draws not as ordinary artists. Instead of laborious to apply paint to canvas with a brush, it resets the gallons of bright colors in a huge tank filled with oils and other liquids. The result is a fantastically beautiful and surreal “falls of color”, which will never see in an art gallery.

Myst is the last of a series of short films by the artist, where the madness of color combined with regular geometric forms.
