Traffic cameras in Makhachkala turned off because of debts

In Makhachkala, from-for debts has disconnected and partially dismantled the camera video recording violations on the roads, says family-owned Demyan Kudryavtsev, the newspaper “Vedomosti”.

Maykor, which installed the system, estimates the debt at 135 million roubles. “Vedomosti” writes that in the years 2014-2019 Dagestani officials had to allocate from the regional budget of 700 thousand rubles to pay for the services of the firm.

City hall was getting ready summonses, each of which Maykor received 350 rubles. It was assumed that only will be discharged to two million fines.

One of the sources said that Maykor spent on installation of 160 million rubles. Penalties for 2015, the authorities paid the company about 52 million for subsequent years, the money the company, according to her statement, is not received.

The customer representative of video system Vagif Derganov told the newspaper that the administration of Makhachkala has not listed Maykor money, because for these purposes the national budget is not enough. For ten months of 2017 traffic fines brought into the Treasury more than 100 million rubles.

According to Dergunova, the Ministry of Finance of Dagestan promises to pay the debt to the company in 2018. The Agency at the request of “sheets” have not responded.
