Every fifth foreigner refuse to work in Russia

The number of foreign workers hired to work in Russia in 2018 on the basis of a visa, will be less by 20 percent than in 2017. it is stated in the decree on the government website.

“The need to attract in 2018 foreign employees arriving to Russia under a visa is 140 thousand 423 people — 79.3 percent of the need identified for 2017”,— stated in the decree on the government website.

In some sectors of the economy in 2018 quota retained, reduced it, for example, for land passenger transport and road freight transport — from 30 to 28 percent.

According to the General Directorate for migration, Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia, in 2016, the country entered more than 16.4 million of foreign citizens and individuals without citizenship.

Mainly as the purpose of entry of migrants pointed out the “private visit” (39.9%, the majority of them came from Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan), on the second place — “work for hire” (22.4%, here the leaders are the citizens of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine).
