The ruble is stable and its course will not collapse, neither in this nor in the following year. This was stated by the Minister of economic development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin in an online interview “to the Newspaper.ru”.
“The ruble is trading around where it should be trading on the basis of our model estimates and the level which is necessary for balancing the balance of payments”, — said the Minister.
He also underlined that does not doubt the growth prospects of the Russian economy. According to the forecast of Ministry of economic development, the average weighted dollar in the current year will amount to 59.4 rubles. The Ministry expects that in 2018, the U.S. currency will cost 64.7 ruble, in 2019 — 66,9 rubles in 2020-m — 68 rubles.
