Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul received a gift from his Russian counterpart Anatoly Antonov vodka bottle. About it the diplomat wrote in Facebook to post photos.
The picture shows Beluga vodka in wooden gift box with the logo of the Russian Embassy in the United States.
“A gift from the Ambassador Antonov. Thank you!” — wrote McFaul (thanks in Russian).
McFaul headed the American diplomatic mission in Russia from 2012 to 2014. Before that was special assistant to President Barack Obama on national security issues.
