Putin instructed the government to organize subsidizing mortgages for families with two children
MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Payment for the first child will apply to families with incomes no more than a half of the subsistence minimum per person. This is stated in published on Monday on the Kremlin website the list of orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin following the meeting of the coordination Council on realization of National strategy of actions in interests of children.
The document is aimed at implementing initiatives to improve the demographic situation, which the head of state said at the meeting. In particular, the presidential Administration of the Russian Federation has been given until February 15 of next year to ensure adoption of the laws providing for the introduction from 1 January 2018 monthly payments for the first child and in monthly payments from means of the parent capital for the second child.
According to the order of cash payments for the firstborn until the age of 1.5 years to be established in the amount of the subsistence minimum of the child, established in the corresponding region in the second quarter of the previous year, and will apply to families “with income per family member in the amount of not more than 1.5 subsistence level of the employable population” (as well as of the second quarter of the previous year — approx. TASS). For the families with the same income level will apply and payments out of the funds of the parent capital for the second child before achievement by it 1,5 years. The amount of such payments will also be equal to the subsistence minimum of the child in the corresponding subject of the Russian Federation.
