Chinese President XI Jinping called on mankind to build in cyberspace common future. This is stated in his welcome letter to the participants of the 4th world conference on Internet governance, reports “Xinhua”.
According to the Chinese leader, the development of the Internet is accompanied by both opportunities and challenges to the sovereignty and security of countries. XI also called for joint efforts to protect the sovereignty, the development of partnerships in cyberspace through consultations. “We hope that through our efforts, we can make all of the country had to take the train development of the Internet and the digital economy”, — stated in the message.
The conference was attended by representatives of 411 high-tech companies from around the world.
At the event, the head of Roskomnadzor Alexander Zharov suggested that 25-30 percent of GDP growth of Russia and China by 2025 will provide the Internet technology.
