MOSCOW, 5 Dec — RIA Novosti. The representatives of Queen Elizabeth II of great Britain has invested about £ 10 million ($13 million) of her personal funds in the offshore. Such data are contained in documents of the International consortium of investigative journalism, reports RT.

According to reports, called the Paradise Papers, the money was invested in funds registered in the Cayman and Bermuda. The funds were earned through the Queen belonging to the Duchy of Lancaster, which is a large real estate portfolio.

Part of the money one of the funds invested in the financial institution BrightHouse, which was accused of granting loans on unfair terms.

Representatives of the Duchy already explained that invest only in proven investment funds, and the Queen pays taxes on income, which brings her to Lancaster. With respect to investment in BrightHouse, the Duchy said that he did not know about this long-standing investment.
