From the website of the CIA was missing the declassified archive documents on bin Laden
MOSCOW, 5 Dec — RIA Novosti. The page on the website of the CIA declassified archive documents and files, obtained by the operation to eliminate the former leader of the terrorist group al-Qaeda* Osama bin Laden, it became impossible to open.
“Documents from the Abbottabad temporarily not available, while solving any technical problems. We are working to re-open access to the materials as soon as possible”, — stated in the message on the page, where previously housed the archive.
According to the information portal BuzzFeed, the files disappeared from the website on the day following the publication on Thursday.
On Friday, the CIA representative told the portal that the disappearance of documents due to technical issue that will soon be eliminated. When reporters repeatedly asked the Agency not having access to the page the next day, a spokesman for the CIA declined to comment.
On Wednesday, the CIA announced the publication 470 thousand documents obtained by operation to eliminate the “terrorist number one” bin Laden. Documents include text files, audio and video, and system software files.
Bin Laden was killed on the night of 2 may 2011 in the Pakistani town of Abbottabad in the result of the assault by the American military.
