The NYPD is prepared to arrest Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein on charges of rape, RIA Novosti reported.
“Weinstein is now out of state. We need an arrest warrant to arrest him” — said at a press conference a police spokesman in new York.
The police added that they received “reliable description” of the incident from a woman who had previously declared that became a victim of the Weinstein seven years ago.
Friday producer accused of raping actress Paz de La Huerta, known for the films “enter the void” and “a walk to remember”. She said that it happened twice. It was stated that the new York police Department began an investigation into allegations of de La Huerta.
