In the Moscow sports complex “Luzhniki” held a rally-concert “Russia United”, reports RIA “Novosti”.
The event was organized by the Public chamber of Russia.
Among the guest stars — Philip Kirkorov, the group “lube”, Grigory Leps, Polina Gagarina, Nargis, Nyusha, Filipp Kirkorov, Kristina si, Elena Temnikova, djigan and many others.
National unity day celebrated in Russia since 2005. The celebratory date was established in memory of the events of 1612, when the militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from Polish invaders.
Historically this holiday is connected with the end of the time of Troubles in Russia in the XVII century.
